Professional expertise

A qualified accountant, Caroline specialises in the assessment, modelling and evaluation of competencies, particularly in the professional services sector. She has applied this expertise in the fields of graduate recruitment, training and professional capability assessment.

Experience

Before joining Silver Pebble, Caroline spent four years as Head of Professional Development at the Institute of Management Consultancy, where she led the Institute’s programme in the development of professional standards and qualifications. In this role she led a team to develop a new web-based assessment process for the Certified Management Consultant award, including process design, appointment of new assessors. She subsequently led the commercial sale and roll-out of this approach to the Institutes outside the UK. 

 

Her career includes four years developing and leading the management consultancy graduate programme at Ernst & Young (subsequently Cap Gemini), ten years as management consultant and five years as a Chartered Accountant.

Education & qualifications

After gaining a degree in Economics and Accounting, Caroline entered the Accountancy profession, becoming a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and achieving her FCA in 1996. 

 

She is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Management Consultancy.
