An experienced Management Consultant and non-executive Director, Jeremy works in change management, training and education. He has a well-developed expertise in international professional standards, ethics and qualifications, and plays an active role in the governance of the global Management Consultancy profession as a board member of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes. He also acts as a lay adviser to the NHS where he chairs the board of a London-based medical school.
After an early career in manufacturing, Jeremy started working as a management consultant on enterprise-wide business re-engineering for multinational clients in the 1990’s. Since then he has developed his experience in the human aspects of organisational change, working across the economy in the UK and internationally. His experience encompasses secondments into the UK government, donor-funded management education projects in Africa and working in China to train local professionals in western methods of management and consultancy.
In addition to his consultancy experience, Jeremy has been involved in the development of the management consultancy profession through the UK Institute of Consulting and the Chartered Management Institute for more than 15 years.
Education and qualifications
As well as his first degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jeremy holds an MSc in Change Management and an MBA in International Business. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Certified Management Consultant, and is qualified in the use of the MBTI and FIRO-B psychometric instruments.
Jeremy is a contributor to Masters' programmes at a number of UK Universities, including Cranfield, Edinburgh, Brunel and Bath, and he led the UK’s participation in the development of ISO20700, the standard for Management Consultancy Services launched in 2017.
