Professional expertise
Jeremy specialises in organisation and people development. He works with Directors and senior managers to devise and implement innovative approaches to improve people’s ability and motivation. He focuses particularly on the challenges of personal development in Professional Services organisations.
Experience
After an early career in manufacturing, Jeremy joined a management consultancy in 1988. Since then he has concentrated on dealing with the people implications of change, in both the Public and Private sectors. He has substantial experience of working across government and has undertaken secondments in the UK Cabinet Office and Foreign Office.
Education and qualifications
As well as his first degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jeremy holds an MSc in Change Management and an MBA in International Business. He is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Consulting and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
He plays an active role in the UK Institute of Consulting (IC), where he chairs the Professional Standards and Qualifications Committee, having previously held the role of Chair of the Institute. He is also a Trustee of the International Council of Management Consultancy Institutes (ICMCI), the body that co-ordinates Management Consultancy standards across the globe.
Jeremy is a contributor to MBA programmes at both Cranfield Management School and Edinburgh University Business School, and is qualified in the use of the MBTI and FIRO-B psychometric instruments. He currently chairs a task force for the British Standards Institute (BSI) to introduce a European Service Standard in Management Consultancy.
